Anna "Ann" Bergamasco

Anna "Ann" Bergamasco, 95, of Meadville, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.

Ann was born in Meadville on May 9, 1927, a daughter of the late Dominic and Marie (Grasso) Bengivenga.

On April 21, 1945, Ann married Joseph Bergamasco; he preceded her in death on December 13, 2006.

She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

In 1992 Ann retired from Pasco Tool and Die where she had been employed for seven years. She previously had been employed in Plant 7 of the former Talon, Inc. for 36 years. She attended the former St. Brigid Catholic School. Ann was a member of the Italian Civic Club Auxiliary. She was an excellent baker who especially enjoyed making cookies.

Ann is survived by a son Daniel "Dan" Bergamasco of Meadville; two grandchildren Shelley Landon, and Daniel Bergamasco, Jr.; five great-grandchildren: Korey Huskonen, Kayley Huskonen, Kristal Huber, Bridget Petro, and Bryan Landon, II; two great-great-grandchildren Kendall and Kamdyn Huber; two sisters Gertrude Krem, Emelina Bahurinsky; both of Meadville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parent and her husband Joseph of 61 years, Ann was preceded in death by three sisters Rose Musica, Carmella Feleppa, and Helen Camasi; five brothers Michael, Clement, Tony, Johnny, and Jerry Bengivenga.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 2-5 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.

Ann will be laid to rest with her husband, Joe, in St. Brigid Cemetery.
