Ann Farzalo Bucci

Ann (Farzalo) Bucci, 89, of 720 Brawley Ave., Meadville, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at home.

Ann was born in Meadville, on November 8, 1928, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Fucci) Farzalo.

In 1948 Ann married Charles Bucci; he preceded her in death on May 24, 1986.

She was a life long member of St. Mary of Grace Church, and had been instrumental when it transitioned from the former River Street location.

Ann retired from the former Talon, Inc. after many years of service. She was a graduate of Meadville High School, class of 1947. Over the years she had volunteered at the Soup Kitchen and Active Aging. She enjoyed playing cards with her many friends at 55+ and the Senior Citizens Association.

Ann is survived by her three children James Bucci and his wife Tina of Meadville, Marsha St. Pierre of Plantation, FL, Robert Bucci and his wife Linda of Brisbane, Australia, four grandchildren Josh Bucci, Anthony St. Pierre, Bianca Bucci, Sophia Bucci, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Norman M. Farzalo, and a sister Pauline Rinko.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 27, from 10-11 at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, with Fr. Tom Trocchio, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Ann will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
