Albert J. Cox

Albert J. Cox, 88, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Meadville Medical Center.

Albert was born in Meadville, on February 2, 1930, a son of the late Earl and Catherine (Arrington) Cox.

He married Lois Fitzpatrick; she preceded him in death.

Albert worked as a laborer doing painting and construction. A Korean War veteran, he served his country from July 28, 1950 until his honorable discharge on August 7, 1953. Albert attended Meadville schools. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. Albert enjoyed people and was a fun person to be around.

Albert is survived by a son Chris Fitzpatrick and his wife Deborah of Cambridge Springs, eight grandchildren Tavion Fitzpatrick, Jordan Leigh Fitzpatrick, Chris Fitzpatrick, Jr., Simeal Wofford, Derek Glancy, Latavion Fitzpatrick, Neosha Fitzpatrick, Saraya Ann Fitzpatrick, a brother Lawrence Cox and his wife Eva of Dayton, OH, two nieces Cynthia Richardson and Robin Corporal of Dayton, OH.

Graveside services will be held at Venango Cemetery at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
